Nowadays, the consequences of human activities on our planet have led with fast rhythms Earth to the so-called climate change and its consequences that can be observed in a daily basis. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)- body of the United Nations (2021): "Since systematic scientific assessments began in the 1970s, the influence of human activity on the warming of the climate system has evolved from theory to established fact." In fact, climate change can affect our health, ability to grow food, housing, safety, security, and work.

Under these circumstances, it is crucial to be equipped with green skills and competences, that can decisively help in the fight of climate change. This Learning Unit aims to provide all this knowledge needed to ensure a sustainable development.
